This JR-TA702-GU front C-hub carrier is an aluminum, gun metal finished replacement engineered for Tamiya TA07 and TB04 on-road chassis. As a steering component it replaces the stock front C-hub carrier to offer a stiffer mounting point for the suspension and steering linkages.
Fitting is straightforward on compatible TA07/TB04 layouts: the carrier uses the original bulkhead mounting locations and retains the stock steering geometry without chassis modification. After installation check bearing alignment, steering free play, and fastener torque to ensure consistent handling.
On the setup side the aluminum carrier lessens front-end flex and helps preserve toe and steering settings run-to-run. Fit this part when you want a firmer steering pivot and improved setup repeatability, while remembering overall handling is affected by the complete chassis setup.
