This aluminium front suspension mount is designed for Tamiya TA05 and TA05-R layouts and carries the FF/1 Degree designation that fixes a forward-facing 1 degree angle at the steering pivot. As a metal replacement for the factory plastic mount, its purpose is to alter front geometry and provide a stiffer attachment point without changing the planned suspension travel.
Fit this part as a tuning element: the FF/1 Degree orientation adjusts the initial steering geometry and can produce a crisper turn-in at corner entry. Treat the component as a chassis-level geometry change and pair it with wheel alignment checks and conventional front shimming to dial in handling.
Installation notes: check compatibility with your existing steering knuckles and upper links, confirm clearance for the servo saver and tie rods, and reuse factory fasteners if they fit. Because this is an aluminium hop-up for an RC chassis, inspect mounting threads and torque fasteners conservatively to avoid stripping plastic subframes.
