Aluminum rear hub mount for TA05-IFS and TRF-416

This aluminum rear hub carrier is made for the Tamiya TA05-IFS and TRF-416 platforms and is listed under 3Racing part number TA05-IF14/0/LB. It replaces the stock rear carrier to provide a stiffer mounting point for the wheel hub, helping to stabilise rear suspension geometry on paved circuits.

The 0 degree designation refers to the carrier's fixed caster and roll-center relation at the hub mount. Fitting a different carrier changes how the rear responds during acceleration, braking and turn-in, so this piece is used for incremental geometry tuning rather than large suspension redesigns.

Installation is a direct swap on compatible rear upright assemblies: remove the existing carrier, fit this aluminium unit in the same orientation, and secure using the original screws. After installation verify wheel alignment, bearing seating and rear toe before running.

Use this part when you want a firmer rear mounting point for more consistent lap-to-lap behaviour during practice or race sessions and when you are dialing rear traction without major suspension changes.

Measure the mounting points on your current rear upright and compare them to the replacement carrier; this part is specified for TA05-IFS and TRF-416 rear uprights, but confirming hole spacing and bearing bore before fitment avoids surprises.
The listing covers the hub carrier component itself; check the seller listing to see whether bearings, shims or mounting screws are supplied with your order.
Expect a firmer rear mounting point that can slightly increase transient stability and alter rear traction response, useful for trimming oversteer or improving rear consistency on smooth, paved tracks.
