This rear shock tower is a graphite replacement made to suit TAMIYA TA05, TA05-IFS and TA05-R rear bulkhead mounting points. It holds the rear shock tops and alters rear rigidity without changing drivetrain components.
Graphite delivers greater stiffness than typical plastic towers while keeping mass down, so expect noticeable changes in chassis flex and how the rear suspension reacts during cornering. Adjust spring rates and damper settings to account for the altered load transfer.
Installation uses the stock screw positions on TA05 series rear bulkheads so no cutting or drilling is required. Use standard hobby hex drivers and torque screws carefully to avoid over-tightening the graphite part.
Treat this tower as a handling adjustment rather than a straight power upgrade: the increased rear stiffness can reduce unwanted flex but may shift balance, so retune damping, anti-roll settings and ride height for practice or race setups.
