Front SSG Tower Overview

This graphite front SSG shock tower is made for the TAMIYA TA05 chassis and is supplied as model TA05-02/SG. It replaces the factory front shock mount to give a firmer, more repeatable attachment point for the front shocks.

The part is intended as a suspension mounting and tuning accessory. Changing to this tower alters mounting stiffness and shock leverage which will affect chassis feedback; treat it as a tuning upgrade to refine handling rather than an instant performance fix. Keep original fasteners where possible and check alignment before final tightening.

Installation notes: remove the stock front shock tower and transfer spacers or mounts as required. After fitting, check shock angles and droop and run a measured track test to compare handling. Small adjustments to shock positions or tower height can noticeably change front-end grip and balance, so adjust incrementally.
