Aluminium Rear Lower Arms for TA02

This aftermarket rear lower arm set is made for the TAMIYA TA02 chassis and offered by GPM as TA2056. These aluminium alloy arms act as a direct replacement to stock parts and provide an alternative material choice for TA02 owners who service or tune their suspension.

The lower arm locates the rear suspension link, transfers suspension loads and plays a role in tuning geometry. When replacing the stock arms, inspect mount points and linkage orientation to preserve camber and ride height settings.

Installation follows standard TA02 rear arm procedures: remove the rear wheel hubs and associated fasteners, swap the lower arm assembly and verify ball stud and pin clearances. No specialised tools are required beyond common hex drivers, and original bushings and pins can typically be reused if dimensions match.

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA TA02

Choose this set when you want an aluminium option for regular maintenance or suspension tuning on TA02 cars, and confirm fitment against your existing linkage before final assembly.

Having purchased multiple items from these guys I couldn't be more happier to carry on purchasing parts for my RC cars.
Many TA02 variants share the same rear lower arm mounting pattern, but you should check your chassis mounting points and part orientation against TA2056 drawings before purchasing.
Aluminium can alter unsprung weight slightly and give a firmer feel; expect small handling changes and consider tuning springs or damping after installation.
In most cases existing pins, screws and ball studs are reused if they fit; inspect them for wear and replace any that show excessive play before finishing the job.
After installation, verify ball stud torque and pin clearance, check alignment and run a short test to confirm ride height and geometry are unchanged.
