Precision gun metal motor mount for TAMIYA TA01/TA02/DF01

This gun metal aluminum motor mount is made for use with TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis. It replaces common plastic plates with a stiffer metal mounting surface to help keep the motor in place under load.

Fitting is straightforward on TA01/TA02/DF01 layouts that use the factory motor box mounting points. Align the motor and check pinion-to-spur mesh before final tightening. Use the existing chassis holes and standard screws; no extra fittings are supplied. Observe recommended screw torque to avoid stripping and verify shaft alignment after securing the mount.

As a tuning item this mount helps stabilise motor alignment to reduce mesh changes during heavy acceleration or braking, improving drivetrain consistency and making gear mesh adjustments more predictable for touring and drift setups.

Order shipped very quickly, the items look very good, they answer when you ask them questions... Really positive experience, very serious. Thank you jazrider.
It is designed for TA01, TA02 and DF01 layouts that use the factory motor box mounting points. Always confirm actual fit with your chassis before completing installation.
No additional parts are provided. The mount uses the existing motor box holes and standard hardware; check your chassis for the correct screw sizes and reuse factory screws where appropriate.
Position the motor, fit the pinion and spur, check mesh with a strip of paper, adjust motor position until mesh is correct, then tighten screws incrementally and recheck alignment.
