Precision motor mount for Tamiya TA01/TA02/DF01

The JR-TA102-BK aluminum motor mount is an RC-scale replacement part designed for Tamiya TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis. It provides a rigid mounting surface to keep the motor aligned with the spur and pinion gear train without asserting specific performance gains. The part is intended for model use only.

Fit and installation are straightforward for hobby mechanics familiar with Tamiya touring car platforms: remove the stock motor mount, align this aluminum plate to the existing chassis fixing points, and reuse your motor mounting hardware. Verify motor height and gear mesh before running the drivetrain to avoid premature wear on the spur and pinion.

During setup, a stiffer motor mount helps maintain motor position under load, which simplifies gear mesh adjustments and yields more repeatable drivetrain behavior. Ensure correct thread engagement for mounting screws and confirm the mount does not contact nearby servo or ESC housings on your specific TA01/TA02/DF01 layout.

Materials and finish have been selected for routine hobby serviceability; treat this as an accessory and check mounting hardware periodically to maintain secure fitment.

Spedizione velocissima e prodotti ottimi. Sono contento. Grazie.
Set the motor so the pinion and spur have correct engagement before tightening the mount: hand-rotate the drivetrain while fine-tuning motor height and then secure screws with proper thread engagement to retain the setting.
Most users can reuse the stock motor screws and chassis hardware; however, confirm the thread size and length match so the fasteners engage fully without bottoming out or leaving insufficient thread engagement.
