Aluminum Rear Shock Tower for Tamiya TA01/TA02

This machined aluminum rear shock tower is a direct-fit replacement for Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 scale touring car chassis. As a precision alloy component it provides a rigid mounting point for rear shocks and supports routine suspension adjustments without changing the chassis geometry.

Installation uses the stock rear bulkhead and the existing shock mounting locations on TA01/TA02 layouts, so the original hole patterns and hardware remain compatible. Check shock eyelet spacing and screw lengths during fitment, and reuse original screws when they provide correct engagement.

In practical tuning the aluminum tower reduces flex at the top of the shock mount compared with plastic parts, helping make shock angle and preload changes repeatable between runs. The light blue finish is cosmetic and does not alter mounting dimensions.

Will this mount on both TA01 and TA02 rear bulkheads?

Yes. The JR-TA105-LB is made to match the rear shock locations used on both Tamiya TA01 and TA02 chassis, so it installs at the same points as the stock tower.

Do I need to replace screws or hardware to fit it?

The tower retains the chassis' original mounting points; in most cases you can reuse the stock fasteners. Always verify screw length and thread condition and replace any fastener that does not secure correctly.
