This JR-TA105-BK aluminum rear shock tower replaces the stock rear mount on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 scale touring car chassis, delivering a rigid anchor for the rear shocks and related suspension links. It is an RC-scale accessory intended for model maintenance and setup work, not for full-size vehicles.
The tower improves mounting stiffness to help preserve consistent geometry under load and provides a firmer attachment point when changing shock positions or experimenting with different damping. These characteristics assist with roll stiffness tuning, rebound control, and overall rear-end balance during track sessions.
Installation follows the usual rear sub-assembly steps for TA01/TA02 chassis. Remove the original tower, reuse any required hardware and bushings, then fasten the replacement unit to the existing mounting points. Check shock shaft clearance and linkage movement through full travel before final tightening.
