Rigid machined front shock tower for TA01/TA02

This machined aluminum front shock tower is an aftermarket replacement designed for use on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 touring car chassis. It relocates the shock support to provide a firmer mounting point compared with standard plastic towers.

Fitment is limited to the specified chassis models, and the tower installs at the factory front shock tower location on TA01/TA02 layouts. Installation requires removing the original tower and securing the aluminum unit to the same mounting points; confirm screw type and length before fitting.

During setup the part changes front suspension behavior, increasing initial stiffness and affecting weight transfer at corner entry. Integrate this tower into a stepwise tuning process alongside spring and damper adjustments rather than expecting it to solve handling on its own.

How is this installed on TA01/TA02 chassis?

Remove the stock plastic tower, align the aluminum tower with the factory mounting holes on your TA01 or TA02 chassis, and fasten using compatible screws. Check screw diameter and length before tightening.

Will the new tower noticeably change handling?

Expect firmer front-end response and quicker initial reaction; tune springs and dampers after fitting to find the new balance you prefer.
