This aluminium front shock tower is an RC-scale replacement designed for Tamiya TA01 and TA02 chassis. Machined in a gun metal finish, it replaces the stock plastic tower to give a stiffer mounting point for the front suspension assembly.
Installation uses the original TA01/TA02 mounting locations and the same screw points and hardware as the factory part. When fitting, verify shock eyelet alignment and steering geometry, and make sure there is no binding through full suspension travel.
From a setup viewpoint, swapping to an aluminium tower reduces flex at the top of the shock mounts, producing a firmer front-end baseline that can make damper and spring responses more repeatable under load and faster to dial in on the bench or track.
