Aluminum main shaft for TA01/DF01

This JR-TA100-DB aftermarket main drive shaft assembly is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the TAMIYA TA01/DF01 line where a single-piece steel shaft is commonly fitted, offered here in aluminum with a matched joint and blue finish. It functions as an RC drivetrain component intended for model maintenance, part replacement, and setup refinement.

Compatibility is centred on the TA01 and DF01 chassis platforms; installers should confirm clearance and interface fit with their gearbox, spur and pinion arrangement before final assembly. The jointed section preserves the kinematic link between gearbox output and drive train while allowing normal suspension articulation typical of TA01/DF01 layouts.

Installation notes: follow the chassis service manual to remove the original shaft, inspect mating surfaces in the gearbox, verify correct spur/pinion mesh, and check that the new shaft rotates freely through full suspension travel before tightening fasteners. Ensure the shaft clears adjacent components under full articulation to avoid binding.

Tuning role: the aluminum JR-TA100-DB shaft is intended as a replacement for routine drivetrain upkeep and setup tweaks, useful when refreshing worn parts or adjusting rotational characteristics. Regular inspection of the joint and interface points is recommended and replace the shaft if excessive wear appears to keep handling consistent on track.

Items arrived exactly as I ordered and in good time. Very happy with RcJaz products.
Check the gearbox output dimensions and mounting clearances against the JR-TA100-DB shaft; confirm spur/pinion alignment and the shaft shoulder positions before final installation.
Standard hobby tools for TA01/DF01 maintenance are sufficient. Use proper screwdrivers, pliers and torque technique when removing and installing drivetrain components.
Verify smooth rotation through full suspension travel, confirm correct gear mesh and ensure all fasteners are secure before running the model.
