Aluminum main shaft for TA01/DF01 drive link

This RC main drive shaft assembly is designed for Tamiya TA01 and DF01 compatible chassis and is supplied with a gun-metal aluminium finish. The part forms the rotating connection in the driveline and is intended for routine maintenance, repair, and tune-up work on model transmissions and drive systems.

Material and finish are referenced in the product name as aluminium with a gun-metal appearance, offering improved dimensional stability and surface durability compared with softer materials. The assembly includes an articulated joint to accommodate angular movement during suspension travel.

Installation overview: remove the existing main drive shaft following your chassis service steps, inspect mating bearings and hubs for wear, slide the replacement shaft into position, ensure joint orientation matches the original, and secure with the original fasteners. After fitting, rotate the driveline by hand to check for binding or excessive play before any powered test runs.

Tuning and maintenance notes: confirm compatibility with your TA01/DF01 drivetrain layout before installation, keep the joint lightly lubricated with a model-appropriate lubricant, and recheck fastener tightness after the first short run. Regular inspection of the joint and surrounding ball bearings will prolong service life and maintain predictable handling.

great to deal with and communication is very good !👍
Measure the replacement against the removed shaft, inspect hubs and bearings for wear, and confirm the joint orientation matches your original layout before tightening hardware.
Use the original fasteners supplied with your chassis where possible; if they show wear, replace them with the correct grade to maintain proper clamping and alignment.
Rotate the driveline by hand through full suspension travel and steer lock to verify smooth rotation and no excessive play before applying power.
