Mounting and function overview

This aluminum front shock tower is an RC-scale accessory designed for direct fit on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 touring car chassis. It replaces the stock front shock mount to provide a consistent mounting point for shocks and upper suspension links, helping to stabilise setup repeatability during suspension tuning.

Installation uses the factory mounting points on TA01/TA02 style chassis and the same screw locations as the original tower, allowing a straightforward swap without chassis modification. The light blue anodized finish is primarily cosmetic and helps resist surface wear that occurs during handling and setup changes.

In setup work this tower acts as a rigid reference for adjusting shock angle, preload and upper link geometry, making small changes easier to reproduce between runs. Use it as part of the front suspension assembly when balancing ride height, damping and handling feedback on 1/10 scale setups.
