T3-01 rear drive shaft replacement

This aftermarket set replaces the stock rear drive components on the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER chassis with a stainless steel shaft and aluminum hex adapter solution suitable for hobby-grade RC use. The assembly transfers torque from the rear gearbox to the wheel hubs while providing a +2mm track increase where fitted.

The configuration uses a one-piece stainless steel shaft to reduce bending and wear compared with thinner stock parts, and includes aluminum hex adapters sized to mate with the standard wheel fittings. Screw shafts and stainless steel locknuts are supplied to lock the assembly and minimise play under load.

Installation notes: the shaft assembly links into the T3-01 rear gearbox output and standard wheel hubs. Make sure threads are clean, use the supplied screw shafts and locknuts to set the correct preload, and check wheel runout after fitting and again following an initial short run.

Tuning role: this kit aims to give a firmer drivetrain connection and a small rear track increase to influence cornering balance, suitable for hobby-level handling adjustments and drivetrain longevity on the T3-01 platform.
