This aftermarket hex adapter is a scale RC component made for the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER platform and serves as the interface between the rear axle and the wheel. Manufactured from T6 aluminum, the part replaces the stock hex with a 12mm standardized profile to reduce play between the wheel hub and hex.

Key technical details: the adapter body is produced from high tensile T6 aluminum, the hex thickness measures 8.5mm, and the design increases thickness by +1mm relative to the original hex to widen the rear track. The kit includes stainless steel flat head screws (2.5x16) and washers to secure the assembly.

Setup and tuning notes: increasing the hex thickness while reducing the hex-to-wheel gap helps stabilise the rear axle when cornering, and the 12mm standard profile yields more consistent wheel seating across replacement wheels.
