This aluminum tree cap stabilizer with Speedo is an aftermarket replacement made for the TAMIYA T3-01 scale chassis and supplied by GPM as model T3017A. It is designed to tie the front steering shaft to the front damper, cutting lateral free play and helping keep steering geometry consistent during cornering and setup runs.

The package contains one tree cap stabilizer with Speedo and one stainless steel round head screw 3x8 for mounting. To fit, position the stabilizer at the tree cap and fasten with the supplied 3x8 screw, making sure the steering shaft and damper mount move freely without binding. Use a suitable hex driver and tighten to a firm but not over-torqued setting.

In setup terms this is a fine-tune component - small positional changes and screw torque can influence steering feel, return-to-centre action and the way steering inputs interact with suspension movement. Make incremental adjustments, test on track, and record results before further changes.
