A one-piece aluminium servo mount made for the Tamiya MF01X platform, supplied as a single unit. It replaces common plastic mounts to give a firmer mounting point for servos on MF01X chassis layouts while retaining the original hole pattern.
Its role is mechanical: secure the servo case to the chassis, keep alignment under load, and limit flex that can impair steering feel. As an aluminium part it is stiffer than typical injected-plastic mounts and can help when refining steering setup or fitting higher-performance servos within stock envelope limits.
Installation notes: verify the MF01X chassis mounting holes and use original or equivalent-length screws to avoid thread damage, check clearance against nearby suspension and steering linkages, and confirm servo horn alignment before final tightening. After installation, run the servo through full travel to ensure there is no binding at the end stops.
Tuning role: this mount improves chassis rigidity and alignment so servo inputs translate more predictably to steering geometry; it does not change servo output or electronics but can reduce play caused by a flexible mounting point for a more repeatable mechanical response.
