This graphite rear shock tower is an aftermarket hop-up for the Tamiya M07 touring chassis supplied by 3Racing. It replaces the OEM rear shock mounting plate to give a firmer top-mount for rear dampers, aimed at drivers wanting a more predictable rear end when changing springs and damping.
Fitment follows the standard M07 tower bolt pattern and uses the same mounting holes as the factory plate, so no chassis modification is required. Basic hand tools such as a hex driver are enough for installation; verify hole alignment and screw lengths before the final torque.
From a setup perspective the graphite top mount reduces flex at the shock points, which helps keep damping behaviour consistent under braking and during corner exit. Pair it with rear spring and damper tuning to dial in traction and balance on smooth surfaces.
