This front lower suspension mount is a hop-up made for the Tamiya M07 chassis geometry and introduces a 5 degree caster to change front-end behaviour. It replaces the stock lower link mounting point and is aimed at track tuning where subtle steering geometry changes are tested.
Adding 5 degree caster alters the steering axis to affect turn-in and straight-line stability. Fit this mount when you want more controlled front grip and stronger self-centering without swapping major suspension parts. The handling change is purely geometric and does not modify drivetrain or brakes.
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with M07 front suspension: remove the factory lower mount, fit the hop-up in the same location, and reassemble following the original mounting order. After fitting, recheck wheel alignment and steering travel, then make small setup adjustments during test runs to judge corner entry and mid-corner balance.
Routine checks are the same as other small-scale suspension parts: inspect mounting hardware for tightness and wear after initial runs, and ensure steering links do not bind since altered caster can change linkage angles.
