This RC-scale front suspension arm set is made for the TAMIYA M05/M06/MF-01X family and functions as a direct aluminium replacement for the stock plastic arms. It is designed to increase front-end rigidity and give a more consistent steering feel when dialling in setup or running laps.
Installation is straightforward on compatible chassis: remove the original front arms, check hinge pin alignment and ball cup positions, then fit the aluminium arms to the existing mounting points. Use the chassis factory hardware where possible, confirm free movement of the suspension and steering linkages, and verify there is no interference with the servo horn or steering linkage after fitting.
From a tuning perspective these arms cut flex compared with typical plastic pieces, which can sharpen steering response and make changes to toe, camber or roll center behave more predictably. After installation re-check wheel alignment and consider minor shock length or spring-rate adjustments if the front end feels noticeably firmer.
Maintenance tips: inspect the aluminium for burrs or impact marks after hard use, ensure hinge pins and ball cups are not excessively worn, and keep pivot points clean and lightly lubricated. Replace any damaged hardware and retorque fasteners as part of routine chassis upkeep.
