M05 rear hub carrier overview

This machined aluminium rear hub carrier is a direct replacement for the TAMIYA M05 chassis where a 0 degree rear mounting orientation is required. It replaces the standard plastic carrier to create a stiffer structural link between the rear upright and the chassis.

The CNC style aluminium construction delivers repeatable mounting points and reduced flex versus stock plastic, which helps when testing rear geometry adjustments and refining suspension balance. Note that this is a chassis hop-up and does not include electronics or bearings.

Fitting normally involves removing the original carrier and transferring uprights and bearings into the aluminium unit using the existing chassis fasteners. After installation confirm alignment, wheel bearing seating and axle engagement before running the model.
