This kit includes 15 pieces of 3/32" steel balls supplied as replacement rolling elements for small ball bearings and ball-type cups used on Tamiya M03M, M03L, M04M and M04L chassis in 1/10 scale touring models. These are plain spare balls intended to refresh worn rolling interfaces without altering geometry or other components.
In service the balls act as the rolling contact inside bearing races and ball cups found in drivetrains and steering linkages. Replacing worn or pitted balls helps restore smooth rotation and reduces play, improving feel in gear trains and steering assemblies at model scale.
Installation notes: remove the bearing or cup, inspect the race for wear and dirt before inserting new balls, keep the replacements clean, seat them evenly in the race and check free rotation by hand. Use a light, appropriate lubricant for the bearing type and avoid forcing components to prevent race damage.
Setup tip: swapping individual balls is a routine maintenance task that maintains consistent rolling contact; fresh, round steel balls can reduce vibration and variability in tuned 1/10 touring setups while leaving suspension geometry and gearing unchanged.
