Service rebuild kit for TAMIYA Type E locations

This kit provides a service-grade refresh for 1:10 TAMIYA M03 family and TT01 Type E components, aimed at renewing parts that wear under regular track or street use. It replaces the Type E subsystem so the chassis keeps its designed geometry and predictable steering feel.

Fitment covers the TAMIYA M03 / M03M / M03L / M04L / M04M / TT01 chassis family as listed in the product title. Apply the kit when you detect looseness, excessive play, or a weakened steering return from the Type E area, or include it as scheduled maintenance before a race or event.

Installation notes: remove affected Type E items following your normal service routine, compare new parts to originals, and use thread locker on fasteners where your service manual specifies. After assembly, check subframe alignment, steering centring, and that the servo and motor linkages move freely without binding. While the chassis is open, inspect bearings, spur and pinion mesh, and ESC wiring.

Tuning role: restoring the Type E area reduces component slop that can hide suspension or tyre setup changes, letting you diagnose handling tweaks more reliably. After rebuild, recheck toe and camber to confirm the handling balance has returned.

The kit targets the Type E subsystem components that normally wear with use on the M03 family and TT01 Type E locations, replacing the small suspension and steering hardware that affect geometry and play.
Yes. Standard RC service tools such as hex drivers, screwdrivers and pliers are sufficient. Follow your chassis service steps and torque recommendations, and use thread locker where required.
Rebuilding reduces unwanted play and restores static alignment, which can reveal true suspension and tyre behaviour. After the rebuild, confirm toe and camber settings and test on your usual surface.
