This bearing kit is made for compatibility with Tamiya M03, M03L, M04M and FF02 on-road chassis. The 2RS label denotes sealed bearings that retain grease and resist contamination, intended to replace tired factory bearings and bring back smooth rotation in wheels, differentials and shafted parts.
Fit this set when you detect increased drivetrain drag, rough wheel spin or noise from hubs or diffs. Upgrading bearings reduces binding in rotating assemblies, improves rolling consistency and helps maintain reliable handling for track and street sessions.
Installation notes: bearings of this type are normally pressed into hubs, carriers and gearbox housings. Make sure the bearing is square to the bore before applying even pressure, and avoid levering on the seals. After fitting, check free spin and endplay at each location and inspect seals for damage to ensure long service life.
Maintenance: sealed 2RS bearings need less frequent servicing than open bearings, but inspect periodically and replace if you notice roughness, play or grease leakage. Replacing worn bearings is an effective way to cut drivetrain losses without changing gear ratios or suspension geometry.
