This aluminum front upright is supplied as part JR-THS01-LB and is designed for use on TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig, and Boomerang chassis. It replaces the common plastic upright to deliver a firmer mounting point for the front suspension while keeping the original geometry.
The upright is anodized blue and ships with a 5mm long ball connector to suit linkages that use extended ball ends. As an aftermarket RC accessory, it increases front-end rigidity and can help maintain consistent steering under aggressive driving or after other front suspension upgrades.
Installation notes: remove the stock upright and transfer any required bushings or bearings, fit the aluminum unit into the same hub location, and secure using the chassis fastener layout. After fitting, confirm steering throw and tie-rod alignment to avoid binding and make sure the ball connector orientation lines up with the servo and steering arm geometry.
Tuning tip: aluminum uprights reduce hub flex which can change toe and camber behavior under load. Use this part when you want a firmer, more predictable front response and adjust shocks and linkages to rebalance handling.
