Aluminum front upright for select TAMIYA models

This red-anodized aluminum front upright is a replacement part for TAMIYA Hornet, Grasshopper, Grasshopper II, Fast Attack Vehicle, Wild One, F104 and F103 chassis. It is a direct-fit upgrade for the stock front steering knuckle area, keeping factory mounting geometry while replacing the original nylon with a firmer metal interface.

Installation follows model-level maintenance procedures: remove the stock upright, transfer any hinge pins or bushings required by the chassis, and secure the new upright to the factory mounting points. No additional chassis modifications are expected for the listed models, but verify steering-link and brake-line clearance during trial fit.

From a handling standpoint the aluminum upright reduces knuckle flex under load and sharpens steering feedback; use it alongside matched tires, shocks and toe/camber settings to tune front-end response on paved or compacted surfaces.
