Anodized aluminium rear plate for Hornet EVO

This aluminium rear underguard is an RC-scale replacement part intended for use with the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis and corresponds to model JR-THNE03-BK. Machined with a black anodized finish, the panel sits beneath the rear section of the chassis to shield the original plastic underside from impacts and abrasion.

Installation uses the Hornet EVO’s existing rear mounting points and the same screw locations as the stock undertray, allowing direct substitution without changing the main chassis layout. During fitment, check hole alignment and apply thread-lock to steel fasteners for a more permanent install; avoid overtightening so you do not stress nearby plastic parts.

This underguard protects the buggy's rear underside and provides a modest increase in rear stiffness and impact distribution. It is a protection and minor rigidity upgrade rather than a major handling mod; expect subtle differences that favour durability during club practice and casual offroad sessions.
