This steering saver is made for Tamiya GB-01 and GB-02 chassis and uses a bearing interface housed in anodized light-blue aluminum to deliver smoother steering movement. It replaces the factory plastic saver to give a metal option in the steering linkage without altering servo fitment or horn geometry.
Fitting is simple: remove the stock saver from the linkage, attach the alloy unit to the same mounting points, and check that the bearing lines up with the linkage to remove free play. No changes to the chassis or servo mounts are needed on compatible GB-01 and GB-02 setups.
During setup this saver provides a firmer connection between the servo output and steering links, helping cut perceived slop and improving repeatability under cornering loads. It is aimed at on-road and closed-circuit use where crisper steering feedback and steady linkage behaviour are wanted for lap-to-lap consistency.
