Rear steering block summary

The TF201C-005 rear steering block is an aftermarket replacement made for the TAMIYA F201 chassis by 3Racing. It is designed to swap into the rear steering location and lets you restore or refine rear steering geometry without changing the core chassis layout. The unit sits where the rear steering linkages attach and influences rear toe and steering feedback through the axle.

Installation notes: remove the rear hub carrier and its linkages, carry over any bearings and original hardware, then secure the TF201C-005 to the hub carrier with the factory mounting screws. Only minor trimming of nearby plastic may be necessary if factory tolerances vary; normally the part fits using stock hardware. After refitting, check for linkage free play and ensure smooth steering throughout full travel.

Tuning role: use this hop-up to fine-tune rear steering geometry for scale racing. Small changes to the block position or orientation will alter rear toe-in and transient response, which affects corner entry balance and mid-corner stability. Make incremental adjustments and run short test laps to evaluate handling before locking settings.

Compatibility and caution: intended for TAMIYA F201 variants that use a rear steering block at the same mount points; verify fit against your existing hub carrier before final installation. This is an RC accessory only and not for full-size vehicles.

Most F201 setups accept the TF201C-005 as a direct swap, but inspect that the mounting holes and bearing seats align before tightening everything down.
The design normally uses your stock screws and bearings from the original hub carrier, so no extra hardware is required in typical installs.
Make small incremental geometry changes and run a few timed laps, noting corner entry and mid-corner balance before making further adjustments.
