The TF201C-014 rear damper is a purpose-built replacement part for the Tamiya F201 chassis. It installs as a direct hop-up to restore or fine-tune rear suspension response while leaving chassis geometry unchanged.
This damper mounts in the stock rear shock positions used on F201 layouts. It replaces worn or damaged rear damping components and helps control rebound and compression behaviour, which in turn affects rear traction and mid-corner balance.
Installation notes: confirm alignment with the rear shock tower and secure the damper with the original hardware or equivalent fasteners. After fitting, verify full suspension travel, correct orientation, and smooth movement through the travel range before running on the track.
Tuning role: as a rear damper replacement it complements springs and any damping medium to manage axle load transfer and rear grip. Make setup changes in small steps and test on a representative surface to assess handling differences.
