Adjustable 70mm front alloy damper

This front shock assembly is an aftermarket upgrade made for the TAMIYA DT-04 RC FIGHTER NXGEN chassis. The shock bodies are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, charged with 500cSt silicon oil and closed with a sealed cap to reduce leakage. The piston shaft is increased to a 3.5mm diameter and the shock pin is hardened to resist wear under repeated use.

Service and tuning roles: the unit lowers internal friction, helps absorb dynamic front-end loads and gives a taller, adjustable damper for fine ride-height and spring-rate adjustments. A black spring is supplied to match original feel, while the included silver spring (1.1mm wire) is slightly stiffer to change response without altering the shock body.

Installation notes: these are front-position dampers with a 70mm centre distance and share the same mounting interfaces as the DT-04 front shock area. Fitment uses the supplied hardware to replace the stock front dampers; confirm existing shock eyelet spacing before final fitment and torque the supplied grade 12.9 screws to a secure setting.
