This aluminum rear dogbone is a scale replacement designed to link the CVD output to the wheel hub on TAMIYA DT-03 rear drivetrains. It replaces the fragile factory plastic posts to give a more durable torque path to the wheel ends.
The part is precision machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and given a polished finish. The upgrade is produced thicker than the original molded posts to resist bending, and the shaft diameter is 10mm, which is 1mm larger than the stock plastic posts. Supplied as a 2 pcs set, it replaces both rear posts in one service.
Installation is a direct swap for the stock DT-03 rear posts; check axial and rotational fit before final tightening to prevent binding. Choosing a thicker aluminum post reduces rear drive link flex and can stabilise drivetrain behavior under harder throttle or heavier loads. Multiple finish colours are offered by the manufacturer for visual matching.
