The JR-DT309-GU kit replaces the DT-03's stock plastic steering components with an aluminum hi-torque servo saver (25T) and matching aluminum tie rods. It is designed as a scale upgrade for the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis to reduce steering play and create a firmer connection between the servo output and the steering knuckles.
Compatibility is limited to DT-03 based assemblies. The servo saver uses a 25T spline interface, so confirm your servo output spline matches 25T before installation. The aluminum tie rods are intended to replace the original plastic rods to reduce flex and improve repeatability under load.
Installation notes: remove the existing servo saver and tie rods, transfer any necessary bearings or spacers from the stock parts, and fit the aluminum components aligned to the steering geometry. Check for binding across full steering throw and re-check tightness after the first run. Use this kit as a tuning item to tighten steering response rather than to change suspension characteristics.
