Designed for the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis, this RC-scale upgrade pairs an aluminum hi-torque 25T servo saver with matched aluminum tie rods to replace plastic steering components with metal hardware for improved feedback and longevity.
The aluminum servo saver uses a 25T spline interface and sits between the servo output and steering linkage to protect the servo while delivering a crisper steering feel. The aluminum tie rods reduce flex compared to stock parts and permit more accurate toe and steering geometry adjustments during setup.
Installation notes: push the saver onto the servo spline and secure it per DT-03 steering assembly points, set both tie rod lengths evenly to establish a neutral toe, and confirm full travel to avoid binding. Small incremental tie rod adjustments alter toe and steering center without changing other suspension geometry.
