25T Aluminum Servo Saver and Tie Rod Upgrade for DT-03

This 25T aluminum servo saver and matched tie rod set is prepared for the Tamiya DT-03 chassis as an aftermarket steering upgrade. The kit replaces common plastic linkage parts with machined aluminum components to reduce flex and help maintain steering geometry under heavy use.

Compatibility and role: Designed specifically for DT-03 steering layouts, the set protects the servo output from shock and provides firmer, more repeatable steering inputs to aid handling tuning. It is intended to refine steering feel rather than alter the vehicle's overall dynamics on its own.

Installation notes: Remove the stock servo saver and install the 25T aluminum servo saver onto the servo spline, then attach the aluminum tie rods to the knuckles and bellcrank following existing geometry. Confirm servo spline type and check movement through full suspension travel to avoid binding. Apply thread-lock where metal fasteners are used and retorque after the first run.

Tuning guidance: Begin with the factory geometry and make small steering adjustments using the stiffer aluminum rods. Because the alloy limits linkage flex, toe and ackermann changes will be more noticeable; change one setting at a time and test on a controlled surface to assess turn-in and mid-corner balance.

Check your DT-03's servo spline and linkage layout before ordering. The kit targets the standard DT-03 steering arrangement, so confirm spline count and the existing link geometry match the product drawing.
Installation swaps the stock saver and tie rods; no specialty parts are normally required. Have appropriate thread-lock and basic hand tools ready, and check that supplied fasteners match your chassis hardware.
