This aluminium wheel joint is a direct-fit replacement part made for use with Tamiya DT03 chassis layouts. It serves as a metal alternative to the stock plastic joint on 1/10 scale models and is intended for routine repair or incremental tuning.
The part locates at the wheel hub interface and integrates with the DT03 wheel assembly. Fitting normally requires wheel removal and access to the hub to swap the joint, after which you should verify correct seating, wheel mounting and free rotation.
In setup and tuning, a metal joint reduces hub play and provides a consistent mounting point for wheel alignment adjustments. It is supplied as an aftermarket hop-up for maintenance, repair and fine tuning on DT03-based kits rather than as a performance exaggeration.
