Graphite rear shock tower for DF-03 chassis

This rear shock tower is an aftermarket hop-up created for use on TAMIYA DF-03 chassis and Dark Impact body/chassis combinations. Machined graphite construction raises local stiffness at the rear shock mounting points, helping the rear end resist deformation under hard landings and aggressive cornering.

As a tuning component, the tower alters rear suspension behaviour by limiting flex where the shock upper mounts attach to the chassis. The reduced movement at the mounting bosses makes traction response and transient behaviour more repeatable between runs.

Fitment is simple on DF-03 layouts that use the standard rear tower mounting bosses: remove the original tower, transfer any required spacers or factory screws, and secure the graphite tower to the same mounting points. No extra hardware or modifications are supplied.

Fit notes and checks

Confirm your DF-03 chassis uses the standard rear shock tower layout before fitting. This tower targets hobbyists tuning rear mount stiffness to refine traction and mid-corner balance.

As a straightforward graphite upgrade, this tower gives a stiffer rear anchor for suspension tuning and improved repeatability under load.

It fits DF-03 layouts that retain the standard rear tower mounting bosses. If your aftermarket arms or mounts have changed the boss locations you should measure the fitment before installing.
Use the factory screws and any original spacers where they apply. The hop-up does not include additional hardware.
Graphite stiffens the shock anchor area so suspension forces transmit more directly into the chassis, which can stabilise rear traction and sharpen transient response.
It is a tuning part that can aid repeatability in timed runs, but setup changes are required to extract full performance. Check class rules if racing formally.
