This aluminium servo saver is supplied for the TAMIYA CW-01 (Lunch Box) platform and includes a steel tie rod as part of the single set. It sits between the servo output and the steering linkage to absorb impact loads and help prevent shock damage to the servo while keeping steering inputs predictable.
Design notes: the unit combines a stiff aluminium body for reduced wear with a steel tie rod for a secure steering connection. The 23T designation refers to the saver interface configuration and it is made to integrate with CW-01 steering geometry that requires a 23T style saver.
Installation and tuning role: install so the saver lines up with existing linkage and tie rod threads; it acts as a sacrificial buffer and helps maintain repeatable steering centring under load. Fine tuning of linkage length and steering geometry remains the main method to adjust handling.
