25T aluminium servo saver for CW-01

This aluminium upgrade replaces the stock plastic servo saver and tie rods on the TAMIYA CW-01 Lunch Box chassis with machined aluminium components built for scale RC durability. The set is specified as a 25T high-torque servo saver combined with aluminium tie rods, providing a stiffer metal alternative where original parts commonly wear or deform.

Compatibility is limited to the CW-01 (Lunch Box) chassis; correct fit depends on the chassis mounting points and the use of servos with a 25T spline. The unit acts as the mechanical link between the servo output and the steering linkage to protect the servo gear train while maintaining steering precision during normal operation.

Installation notes: remove the existing saver and tie rods, transfer any reusable hardware when appropriate, and fit the aluminium saver onto the servo spline. Verify spline engagement and steering travel before use, and ensure tie rod lengths match the chassis geometry to prevent binding. No electrical changes are necessary.

Maintenance and tuning: aluminium parts reduce flex compared with stock plastics but still require periodic checks for thread security and alignment. Use thread-lock where metal fasteners are used and inspect linkages after impacts. The tie rods provide a reliable baseline for toe and steering trim adjustments during setup.

This set is designed specifically for the CW-01 Lunch Box layout; compatibility with other TAMIYA models is not guaranteed and should be confirmed against those chassis mounting points.
The saver fits servos that use a 25-tooth spline. Check your servo spline count and the servo output shaft fit before installing to avoid mismatch.
Installation generally uses the chassis existing fixing points and common hand tools; retain any usable screws from the original assembly and have basic hex drivers and pliers on hand.
