This aluminium hi-torque servo saver is an RC-scale replacement part designed for the Tamiya CW-01 Lunch Box chassis. The assembly pairs a 25T aluminium saver body with a steel tie rod to increase steering linkage stiffness while preserving the protective function that prevents direct shock loads to the servo gear train.

Installation is straightforward for CW-01 layouts that use a 25T servo spline interface; fit the saver between the servo horn and the steering linkage, secure the tie rod to the steering arm, and check the spline engagement before final tightening. Use moderate thread torque and verify free movement through full steering travel to avoid binding.

For tuning, this part helps reduce perceptible play at the wheel and improves steering response when used with higher-torque servos, without claiming changes to servo output.
