Upper axle mount upgrade

This GPM CC2008 6061-T6 aluminum upper axle mount set is made for the TAMIYA CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 scale chassis to secure and stabilize the upper suspension links. The machined plates reduce slop at the link ends to help keep suspension geometry consistent during trail runs or scale driving.

Fitting uses the included stainless steel screws to swap out the factory plastic mounts, giving a firmer anchor point for the upper links. This is a tuning hop-up that tightens link tolerances and helps deliver more consistent handling without changing springs or shocks.

Installation is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with basic chassis work: remove the stock mounts, position the new plates and secure them with the supplied stainless screws. No special tools are required beyond a driver and an adjustable spanner if needed.
A light medium-strength threadlocker is recommended on metal-to-metal fasteners for trail use. The supplied screws are matched to the mounts so additional washers are normally not required unless you need fine shim adjustments.
These parts are a direct replacement intended to stabilise link attachment points and should not significantly change ride height or suspension travel when installed as intended.
