An aluminum rear upper suspension link arm made to fit the TAMIYA CC-02 chassis, supplied as part number JR-CC208-LB.
As a direct-replacement hop-up for the rear upper link location, the alloy arm gives a stiffer mounting point versus stock plastic parts, helping to reduce flex at the upper link pivot during cornering and load transitions. It attaches to the existing CC-02 chassis mounting points and accepts standard link balls and posts without requiring chassis modification.
Installation is straightforward: remove the stock rear upper link, transfer any existing hardware and pivot balls, and fit the aluminum arm using the same attachment points. After installation, cycle the suspension through the full travel to confirm there is no binding and then fine-tune toe and roll-center settings as needed.
For tuning, pair this upper link with matching lower links and uprights to preserve predictable geometry. Use this upgrade when you need crisper rear reaction and steadier toe change under load, particularly on rough surfaces and high-speed sections where plastic links may deflect.
