This JR-CC208-S rear upper suspension link arm set is an RC-scale replacement for the Tamiya CC-02 chassis that swaps the stock plastic rear upper links for precision machined aluminum units.
These upper link arms define the upper pivot points of the rear suspension and influence roll centre and toe change under compression. Replacing plastic with aluminum reduces flex at the link pivot, which helps keep suspension geometry steadier through repeated runs and produces more predictable tuning feedback.
Installation normally uses the CC-02 rear mounting points. Inspect existing link screws and ball studs for wear and reuse when serviceable; otherwise fit OEM-equivalent replacement hardware. After fitting, check each pivot for free movement to avoid binding.
Tuning note: aluminum links can change the chassis feel compared with stock parts when you alter shock length, swaybar rates, or anti-squat. Make small changes and test on your preferred surface to dial in handling balance.
