Front gearbox upgrade overview

This 21pcs aluminum front gearbox set is an aftermarket replacement designed for the Tamiya CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 chassis, reference CC2012.

The kit replaces the stock plastic front gearbox and related mounting hardware with machined 6061-T6 aluminium components to reduce flex and keep the front differential and axle mount points better aligned under load, helping stabilise suspension links and steering knuckles.

Precisely machined surfaces aim to limit internal play, while supplied king pins lower friction inside the C hub assembly for a smoother steering feel. The package groups both gearbox housings and the required fasteners for a direct swap of the original front assembly.
