Front steering upgrade summary

This upgrade kit replaces the stock front servo horn and steering link on Tamiya CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 models to deliver a more durable, serviceable steering assembly. Brass and aluminium components pair with stainless-steel hardware to reduce play and resist corrosion while focusing on servo protection and tie-rod adjustability.

Adjustment is fully mechanical: change length by rotating the adjustable link with its opposing threads, then use a tool in the tie-rod positioning hole to fine tune the setting. The servo horn has an integrated spring element to absorb impact and limit shock transfer to the servo.

Materials are chosen for hobby durability: stainless steel for the threaded link parts for corrosion resistance, and brass/aluminium for a stiff mounting interface that suits CC02 steering geometry.
