This aluminum battery upper mount is designed as an aftermarket upgrade for the Tamiya CC02 Mercedes-Benz G500 chassis, model CC20127. The mount secures the pack in the CC02 battery bay while providing a metal contact surface to help dissipate heat from the battery housing.
The part is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to balance light weight with structural strength, and it has a patterned contact area that spreads heat away from the battery surface. The package contains the aluminum upper mount and the small stainless steel fasteners required for attachment.
Installation uses the CC02 chassis mounting points and the supplied screws to fasten the mount in place. Once fitted, the clamp reduces battery movement during acceleration or on rough terrain and improves passive thermal conduction compared with a plastic upper clamp.
