This aluminum front knuckle arm set is made for the Tamiya CC-02 chassis and carries the JR-CC200-BK model designation. As a direct replacement component, it reduces flex at the steering knuckle and improves resistance to wear where the original plastic pieces can deform under load.
Front knuckle arms locate the wheel hub and pass steering inputs from the servo via the linkage. Swapping plastic knuckles for aluminum alters pivot stiffness and axle geometry behavior under load, resulting in a firmer pivot point compared with stock parts. This change is valuable when refining steering precision or addressing progressive wear on factory components.
Installation on the CC-02 is generally straightforward but confirm fit before final assembly. Check hub clearance, steering link routing, and adjacent suspension parts, verify pin and screw sizes for compatibility, and apply thread-lock to metal-to-metal fasteners as needed. Small toe or caster adjustments may be required after fitting to keep the intended handling balance.
