Machined aluminium towers for CC-02

Replacement machined front and rear shock towers made for the Tamiya CC-02 chassis, supplied as an aftermarket RC-scale accessory.

Made from machined aluminium, the towers give a stiffer mounting point for shocks while keeping the original chassis geometry intact. Intended for hobby use on 1/10 scale CC-02 based rigs where builders want a metal substitute for standard plastic towers.

Installation uses the CC-02's existing tower mounting pattern; the component replaces the plastic towers and fits the stock bolt locations. Typical steps are align tower, fasten with suitable screws, and confirm shock eyelet alignment. Apply thread locker where appropriate for metal-on-metal fasteners.

Tuning note: swapping to aluminium towers increases stiffness at the shock mounts, reducing local flex and changing suspension response; drivers should recheck shock length, spring rates or shock position on the tower to regain balanced handling.
